With no British Formula Three championship this year, the F3 Cup is the only championship in the Formula Three category based in the UK in 2015. I went along to watch the F3 Cup at Donington this weekend, as part of the MSVR event there. I have watched and enjoyed the F3 Cup before –…
There is not one but two Ginetta series supporting the BTCC championship this year, with the Ginetta racing at Donington Park including both the Ginetta GT Supercup, and the Ginetta Junior Championship, with drivers as young as 14 racing. I went along to the Ginetta media day at Silverstone a few weeks ago, and…
A returning feature to the support calendar of the 2015 BTCC series is the Renault UK Clio Cup, which made an appearance at Donington last weekend as part of the race weekend. With Mike Bushell, the 2014 champion, having graduated to a BTCC drive for 2015, there were some new faces in the series as…
As part of last weekend’s BTCC event, I saw what was a new racing series for me; MSA Formula at Donington Park. For those who are not familiar with the series, this is a FIA Formula 4 based single seater series for drivers from the age of 15 up. There were some familiar names racing…
The British Touring Car Championship seems to be getting more and more popular, with crowds larger each year. I went to the last round of the 2014 championship at Brands Hatch, which was a busy weekend, and more recently to the media day for the current series, which was impressively busy for a mid week…

With the headquarters being based in nearby Donington Park, I took a trip to Formula E Pre-Season Testing on 3rd July 2014. I had seen one of the cars…
This weekend saw the Download Festival 2014, at Donington Park in Leicestershire. I’ve mentioned before that the link between Donington and rock music – as well as aviation and motor racing – made it an attractive place for me to work for several years, and to live nearby, and so Download means that I can…
Formula E is the new class of motor racing from FIA, featuring electrically powered cars, hence the name. Formula E will be based at my local circuit, Lecestershire’s Donington Park in Castle Donington. The complex that will house the new formula is currently being built, and I took a trip along this evening to see…

On previous visits for lunch, I have been lucky enough to see various activities including Ayrton Senna’s first Toleman Formula One car make its way out…
