Second place in Formula One in 2012 went to Fernando Alonso in his Ferrari, the former world champion, who is, no doubt, hoping to go one better this year, as are his legion of fans and the many Ferrari fans around the world. The 2013 offering of this historic team is the F138, which is,…
Red Bull are, of course, the reigning Formula One champions with Sebastian Vettel the three times and current world champion. Their 2013 offering, the Red Bull RB9, is a more purple car than previous years, and looks much better when seen live than through the lens of a camera. Red Bull’s driver line up remains…
It has been pointed out to me that there are a series of new Formula One drivers in 2013, five new entrants to be precise. We have had a chance to see them all run in Winter Testing so far, and I have posted a welcome to Jules Bianchi, but it seems only polite to…
I have shared pictures of Formula One Winter Testing from Saturday and Sunday of last week, as the last two sessions, which have mainly concentrated on pictures of cars going around the track, not particularly unusual given the nature of the sport. It was interesting watching the groups of the various teams gathering together in their matching outfits with matching equipment. I may be in the UK, but I’m not home yet, so my good…
I’m currently in Barcelona – or rather, a little north of the city – for Formula One Winter Testing. Last year, I took almost two thousand pictures at the same event, but managed to get them down to a couple of hundred good pictures. I have taken a few hundred so far, and will be…
It’s January 2013, and although there is snow on the ground at home in the UK, it is almost time for an escape to the (hopeful) sunshine of Barcelona and Formula One Winter Testing. I wrote an article for Fan Formula after last year’s event, Formula One Winter Testing 2012. This is what I said……
