Jam Sport Fiesta Series

Jam-Sport Fiesta Championship at Rockingham

As well as the Fiesta Juniors last weekend, there were also several races for the Jam-Sport Fiesta Championship at Rockingham yesterday. The Jam-Sport Fiesta series has various classes, hence the multiple races over the weekend. I watched one of the class C races. The race got off to an odd start with one of the cars stopping on the green flag lap and requiring rescue.

The group of fans nearest to me told me that Callum Goodwin was the one to watch, so I did keep my eye on him. However, after a few trips to the pits, he retired from the race. Out at the front was JJ Ross, who stayed at the front of the pack throughout the race. There was no shortage of battling for position, with there being as many as three cars abreast at times during the race, but Ross held on to the prime position until he eventually came around the last corner and took the chequered flag.

I, as you might expect, managed to take a few photos during the race; here they are.
