After a wet start on Friday for FP1, the day cleared nicely for a warm FP2. As we left our apartment in Barcelona on Saturday morning to head for the track, it was raining slightly in the city. Our multitasking driver, Pedro, who had demonstrated his ability to drive whilst texting, writing notes and having a conversation on his phone, all at the same time, seemed to be paying more attention to the wet conditions. However, by the time we made it to Montmelo, only a few miles away, the circuit was overcast but dry.
As normal, the day brightened as it went on, although the overcast start of the day meant that the light was not as good for taking pictures. I have discarded more of my pictures from Saturday than any other day, particularly from the morning session, as they lacked the brightness and sharp focus which was a feature of pictures from some of the other sessions.
Here are some of my pictures from Free Practice 3. I hope that you like them.
There is an index of my photos from the Grand Prix weekend here.
