After the damp start that FP1 gave us, the sun had appeared ahead of Free Practice 2 meaning that the track was dry and the conditions looked quite different from what had been seen just a few hours before. We had moved from our seats at the end of the pit lane through the tunnel and to the inside of the track a little further on, and spent Free Practice 2 watching whilst reclining on a very pleasant grassy bank.
The bright sunshine was reflecting off the cars giving a nice effect, particularly on the “shinier” cars like the Mercedes and the McLarens.
