Free Practice 2 for the 2013 British Grand Prix was dryer, warmer, busier and more action packed than Free Practice One. The drier track meant more cars were out throughout the session. We watched from Village.
The drivers seemed keen to get plenty of track time for Free Practice Two, given that the morning Free Practice One session had been almost a non-event for some of the teams, with several doing little more than a few exploratory laps and Kimi Raikkonen not making it out at all, because of a wet track. Although Free Practice Two did not see a totally dry track, conditions were definitely better than earlier in the day. Felipe Massa suffered a crash relatively early in the session, but thankfully the car, and more importantly the driver, were able to continue through the weekend.
