The last two weeks have seen Formula One Winter Testing 2018, when the teams get the first opportunity to take the cars with the features for the current season to the track, and for the fans around the world to see the cars and get an early feel of how the teams are doing. This year saw two tests over two weeks, both at the Circuit de Catalunya near Barcelona. Spain normally means that tests are run in sunshine, but the first test saw rain and even snow as a storm swept across Europe.
Normal service was resumed for the second test with the sunshine back. To some extent, normal service was resumed on track too with Mercedes, Ferrari and Red Bull posted impressive times with cars that seemed reliable. McLaren had plenty of issues on track, but when the car was going, it was posting good lap times.
I was at some of the second test, and as normal, took a few photos and short videos. Here are a few videos from my viewpoint on the pit lane:
