I’ve spent today walking about Copenhagen as a tourist, something I can reccomend. The pretty harbour and lovely cafes that make up Nyhavn, the fun that is Tivoli Gardens, and the palace and the Changing of the Guard are all great to see. We were walking to Nyhavn from the changing of the guard when we saw this VW Beetle with a great registration. I wasn’t the only one stopping to take a photo, so it was obviously a popular car. Here is Das Auto.
The little street that it was on was a popular place for interesting vehicles, with this Chevrolet pick up truck being parked only a few hundred yards away.
It doesn’t really show in the photos, but both were parked in normal spaces alongside less noteworthy cars.
There are many things that Denmark and Copenhagen are famous for, but vehicles had never occurred to me before. I’ll watch out for any others, although Xander did spot two Ferraris, one red and one black driving through the city together first thing this morning. Must be a day for it…
