Classic Racing Revival 2016

Classic Racing Revival 2016

Last weekend saw the Classic Racing Revival 2016 in Denia on Spain’s East coast.  The event sees a series of races featuring historic motorbikes, and includes many of the bikes being on display in the town.

As well as the various bikes, there were also a series of classic cars of various vintages there too.

For those who brought their own car or bike, or who wanted spare parts or other memorabilia, there was no shortage of stalls selling all sorts of items, from the useful to the decorative.

The display of the bikes and cars in the town was on one of the main streets leading to the seafront, lined with cafes and ice cream parlours, and the rather pleasant weather of a Spanish September meant that sitting beside some of the exhibits and enjoying a drink or snack was a great way to spend some of a Saturday afternoon. There was plenty of interest in the vehicles, from those who were interested in buying some of those that were for sale to those who were in the town for another reason and just happened to find themselves in the middle of the show.

The Classic Racing Revival 2016 may have packed away for another year and the bikes and cars have found their way home, but the event will return in 2017. In the meantime, here are some photos of some of the cars and bikes that were on display.
